Brambly Hedge by Jill Barklem

Brambly Hedge is about a community of mice. 

We read Winter Story and Wilfred to the Rescue. I liked the pictures. 

Then I set up my Calico Critters and pretended that they were the animals from Brambly Hedge. 

And I watched a movie of Brambly Hedge on Youtube. 

We also found a picture of a Brambly Hedge House.

Shrek the Musical

I went to a play, Shrek the Musical and I liked it a lot. My favorite character is Fiona.The story is about an ogre named Shrek and a princess named Fiona. Fiona is locked up in a big tower guarded by a dragon. Shrek has to get her for Lord Farquad to marry. Fiona doesn't marry Lord Farquad, she marries Shrek. 

 This is the end when they are all bowing because they did the play.

This is Pinnochio, Donkey, Shrek, Fiona and Lord Farquad. Fiona is now an ogre.

Little House on the Prairie

I have read Little House in the Big Woods, Little House on the Prairie and now I am working on On the Banks of Plum Creek. I skipped Farmer Boy because it wasn't interesting to me. My favorite character is probably the main character, Laura. They are good books!

The Wizard of Oz by Charles Santore

My favorite character is Dorothy because she got picked up by a tornado and she is the main character. My favorite part is when she throws the bucket of water on the wicked witch of the west and she melts.

Magic Tree House

I like the Magic Tree House book. It's about these two kids. One is a girl and one is a boy. The book is about when they go into dinosaur land. They climbed into the tree house and they opened a dinosaur book and the tree house spinned. Then they were in dinosaur land. The first dinosaur they saw was pteranodon. Then they saw a triceratops and then a maiasaura. They also saw a meateater. Tyrannosaurus Rex!

Can You Find It?

I like the book Can You Find It? You try to find things in a piece of art. Like if you wanted to find a building shaped like an ice cream cone, you would look in the picture. I like art.

Paddington Bear

I like the story of Paddington Bear. Mr. and Mrs. Brown found him at the train station. Then he goes to get some tea with Mr. Brown. Then Mrs. Brown comes to the market and says, "That what happens when I leave you alone for five minutes!". Because Paddington was sitting on the table and he got all messy. Then he went home with them.
